The Move Is Done

Over 2000 email users successfully upgraded by Wed. Oct 6, 2010. There were few minor clichés- Users did not:

  • Receive the Oct 4 email- thus were surprised on Oct 5 when their account had moved.
  • Do the changes their outlook setting to point to the new server

Otherwise there was no box or email lose

Please check out the new email system by logging on to webmail. You will find very powerful tools. To log on:

For outlook to point to new server to change setting in outlook:

  • Go to Email Account setting- found under Outlook Tools
  • Select View or change an existing e-mail account
  • Select your domain name account to change
  • Change POP3 Server: POP.MAILANYONE.NET
  • Change SMTP Server: SMTP.MAILANYONE.NET

If you want to use your email account on home, office PC  &/or smart phone (e.g. blackberry, Iphone, Droid, etc.) then you may want to consider setting up your account as IMAP. This way all outlook accounts & mobile stay synchronized. Then you need to delete your POP account & set IMAP accouunt using same setting as POP except for server setting user

  • Incoming & Outgoing server setting = IMAP.MAILANYONE.NET

The old server is scheduled to be turned off Friday Oct 15, 2010.

Till its turned off users are able to access it to view old messages saved on the server. Once it is turned off all will be removed. To access old server:
